| P.G Oxley Ltd celebrates 150 years as a family run business. In 1857, the business was established by Philip Oxley who ran the Funeral side of the business and his son Philip George who had leanings towards the building trade. Throughout the years, the Oxley family have further enhanced the reputation of both operations by offering a dedicated and personal service. In 1991 Bruce joined the company as the sixth generation of the family and over the years has been involved in both sides of the business.
Having dedicated offices in both Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze, the funeral side of the business offers a comprehensive service which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, this includes everything from assistance with registration procedures to newspaper announcements, floral tributes, catering and monumental masonry. Forever sensitive to peoples needs, the company can offer both male and female personnel for informal home visits to undertake all the arrangements.
To help celebrate their 150th anniversary, P.G Oxley Ltd has purchased two stunning Coleman Milne vehicles, a Ford Cardinal Hearse and a Ford Dorchester Limousine, which will aid them in continuing to offer the exceptional level of service that they are renowned for. |
