Coleman Milne Ford Fairlane's Are First Choice For T & I Stockman
21 February 2008

Ian Loram of T. & I. Stockman Independent Family Funeral Service in Torbay is pictured receiving the keys of the first part of his fleet replacement.

Ian and his son Dominic chose the Fairlanes on a number of points. Being based on an Australian vehicle the rear seats are a full three person seat and have fitted seatbelts to the occasional seats. The hearse is magnificent with a vast underneath deck and the top deck is so large and wide, with an aperture to match has enabled the deck to be configured to accommodate two coffins side by side. Ian commented that he has many times conducted funerals of couples or sisters who have died and a double funeral has been requested. It also has the advantage when an oversized floral tribute arrives that the coffin could be placed to one side of the deck. The interiors are of a very high quality the bearers have full sized doors with more legroom than on previous vehicles owned. With the six speed four litre petrol engines they are just so smooth and quiet. We were also pleased that our local garage would be able to carry out servicing and repairs.

Ian said "for nearly thirty years I have never had all my colleagues so enthusiastic about a fleet of vehicles, which is probably why over 500 have been sold already!"
